Located in the 12th arrondissement, Blé Sucré makes all the classic pastries in the highest quality. And thanks to chef and food critic David Lebovitz, he revealed probably the best croissant in Paris, possibly in the world. It has everything you want in a croissant: crunchy on the outside but soft and flaky on the inside. The sticky, spiral pastry known as pain aux raisins is good for people with a sweet tooth. The poulet crudité was pas mal (not bad). It needed a simple sprinkle of salt and pepper. However the fresh tomato and arugula in the sandwich was definitely appreciated. We regret not trying their pain au chocolat. But we know we will be returning to Paris soon. And we know we will be stopping by Blé Sucré for sure.
