Tucked away from the main square is the small 15 seat bar/restaurant called Cervejaria Gazela.  They have been serving cachorros since they first opened their doors in 1962.  This special Portuguese hot dog is gently pressed in a panini machine, toasting the bun on the outside and melting the cheese from the inside.  They finally brush the bread with spicy oil and cut the sausage into bite sizes. The amazing smell and aroma attracts long lines, particularly during the lunch hour.  Ice cold beer and crispy fries accompany this Portuguese dog perfectly.
